July 23: Construction Timeline Update

As of Summer 2024, work on Brannan Center has primarily shifted to the interior; however, some exterior work will still be completed over the next 12 months leading to a public opening of the facility in Fall 2025. The following timeline highlights the major remaining events of the exterior work:

July - August 2024: Parking lot construction & underground utility work

Late Summer 2024: Installation of shingles on selected exterior walls

November / December 2024: Parking lot paving

Late 2024 / Early 2025: PG&E installation (will involve a short closure of Washington Street). This work is anticipated to take place between October 15, 2024 - February 15, 2025. The large window is due to uncertainty regarding equipment delivery and PG&E’s schedule.

Spring/Summer 2025: Permanent parking lot fencing installation, landscaping installation.

TBD: Exterior ramp concrete work, stonework and paver installation.
