August 12: Back-to-School Construction Update

Throughout August 2024, and continuing through most of September, heavy construction traffic will be entering and leaving the Brannan Center via Berry Street, Third Street, and/or Washington Street. Primary access routes will be adjusted as needed based on the activities of PG&E. Base rock will be placed in the parking lot and concrete will be poured for curbs, sidewalks, ramps and stairs.

While these activities will occur during normal working hours, all subcontractors have been advised of the start of school on August 19, 2024. Child safety will continue to be prioritized with all sub-contractors.
